Participatory Facilitation Manager

This is an exciting time at Camden Giving as our participatory grant making continues to grow both internally and externally. 

The Participatory Facilitation Manager is a key role within our grant making processes, supporting residents to make informed funding decisions in panels, within Camden Giving and beyond. They are responsible for leading panel meetings where funding decisions are made and ensuring grant awards at Camden Giving are made by individuals with lived experience of the inequalities our funds aim to address. 

The role is varied, but includes: 

  1. Independently facilitating both internal and external grant making meetings.

  2. Training Camden residents and others on participatory grant making.

  3. Speaking at external events to promote participatory grant making and connecting with the sector.

  4. Supporting general grants administration and other tasks.

Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS Check. This is a permanent role and we are ideally looking for candidates who can start working with us from June 2025. 

We are open to applications from candidates who would like to work a 4 day week or equivalent.

Partnerships Manager – Lead for Trusts & Foundations 

This is an exciting time at Camden Giving as we continue to expand our partnerships and funding opportunities to support grassroots organisations tackling inequality in Camden. We are growing our team to ensure long-term sustainability and deeper connections between funders, businesses, and the local community. 

As Partnerships Manager – Lead for Trusts & Foundations, you will play a key role in securing and managing funding from trusts and foundations while also supporting corporate partnerships and ensuring timely reporting. Over the last year we’ve significantly gown our role as an influencer in the sector and we have the ambition to support the UK’s funding sector to become more participatory, this role will play a key role in growing networks and securing partnerships to make this happen. Your work will directly contribute to Camden Giving’s mission of redistributing power and resources to create a fairer borough. 

The role is varied but includes: 

  • Identifying and applying for funding from trusts and foundations. 

  • Building networks and opportunities to grow Camden Giving’s consulting work. 

  • Managing relationships with funders and ensuring impactful reporting. 

  • Supporting the Head of Partnerships with day-to-day partnership management. 

  • Overseeing corporate partnerships, including funding, volunteering, and in-kind support. 

  • Assisting with community fundraising events, such as Camden Giving Week. 

Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS Check. We are ideally looking for candidates who can start working with us from June 2025 and anticipate this being a permanent role.  

We are open to applications from candidates who would like to work a 4-day week pro-bono or equivalent.

Community Panellist Waiting List

Since 2017 we’ve worked with more than 350 Camden citizens who have decided which charities receive money from us.

It’s an important job, so we pay citizens £16.05 an hour for this work. Panel work usually takes place from 5:30pm-8:30pm, once a week for a period of time. You don’t need any prior experience, you just need experience of inequality in Camden, be that because of your gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any other reason.

We’ll be actively looking for Camden citizens to join our panels at multiple times per year.
