Chair Of Trustees

It’s an exciting time to join our board, after 8 years we have built solid partnerships across businesses, foundations and local governments. Our small, ambitious team are bolstered by the support of 350 Alumni members who have been part of our grantmaking and we’re in an excellent position to make Camden a fairer borough. But our work has never been more needed. Camden has the highest poverty rate in London (at 43%), so our work has never been more needed.

“Being Chair of Camden Giving has been one the highlights of the past 8 years for me and I envy you, the new Chair, the journey ahead.”

Simon Pitkeathley, Chair of Trustees

“Simon has helped us become a fast moving and brave organisation, we’re looking for a new Chair who can help us maintain this spirit and support staff to rise to the challenges that our communities are facing. You’ll be joining a board that’s full of knowledge, but more than that that cares deeply about finding better ways for us to achieve our mission.”

Natasha Friend, Director

Deadline for applications is midnight on the 12th November, applicants are invited to submit a CV and expression of interest letter to natasha@camdengiving.org.uk.

It’s an important job, so we pay citizens £16.05 an hour for this work. Panel work usually takes place from 5:30pm-8:30pm, once a week for a period of time.
