The Council has services in place to protect those who need extra help over the Christmas and winter period, including those who might be isolating and those who are experiencing homelessness. If you are alone at Christmas, worried about support over the coming days or know someone in your community who needs help in any form, Camden Council and community partners are here to help with advice, support and care.
Contact Camden will be available on 020 7974 4444 option 9, from 8 am to 6 pm on working days and operating out of hours service on bank holidays and weekends.
If you are in need of other support, for example with Test and Trace, priority supermarket deliveries, or mental health and bereavement support, please also check out the Council's page www.camden.gov.uk/support-for-individuals

Find Food Camden Provision
The Find Food Camden tool has been developed by Camden Council which enables Camden residents who are struggling to access food to find their nearest food bank or organisation providing food support. When users input their postcode, the tool shows their closest community organisations offering food support, and important information such as opening times and whether or not they may need a referral. Marie-Claire has kindly created a poster you can download and share for your neighbours here.
Please note that not all community organisations listed on the website will be open over the Christmas and New Year period – during this time we would recommend letting residents know that they can also access urgent food support by calling Contact Camden 020 7974 4444 and selecting option 9.
Voluntary Action Camden Directory
Voluntary Action Camden have create a list of voluntary sector organisations, which more specifically focus on support for residents affected by COVID-19, but is also useful for searching by specific types of support. VAC will also share the results to assist in the coordination of a borough wide community response to ensure residents and groups have the help and support they need throughout the epidemic. http://vac.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/covid-19. You can access these organisations on the map below.
Camden Giving Social Action Fund Grantees
Camden Giving recently funded 32 Camden organisations to increase social action and improve community cohesion through community based activities. The full list of grantees can be found here and some organisations might be offering support and activities over the Christmas holidays, though most do not focus on emergency provision. However we advise that you reach out to the organisation to find out what support they are offering and their referral process.
