We’re putting an end to local inequality and poverty in Camden
Camden is one of the most unequal boroughs in London. With a 7-year life expectancy gap between the richest and poorest areas, and 43% of children living in poverty after housing costs, the disparities are stark. Many residents face barriers like unaffordable housing, limited job opportunities, and unequal access to healthcare. These challenges make Camden a critical place to focus efforts on addressing inequality.
Since 2017, we have awarded £7.1 million and worked with over 300 people with lived experience of the local inequality and poverty. We believe that people who are surviving inequality are the ones who can, and should, fund solutions to the challenges facing communities in Camden.
