Camden Giving is a place based giving initiative; a bottom-up, collaborative approach with the aspiration to make Camden a fairer and more inclusive place to live and work. We are going to establish a vibrant and successful fundraising vehicle and a shared vision for the future that includes community activism, volunteering, new opportunities to collaborate, goodwill and connections.
Camden Giving intends to raise and distribute money for good causes in Camden, pooling donations from corporate, individual and trust and foundation donors in order to support local good causes and charities working in the borough. It will be a single point of contact for those wishing to donate to good causes in Camden as well as being a single point of contact for those good causes themselves for fundraising information, support and resources. It will also establish a shared vision that includes community activism, volunteering, new opportunities to collaborate, goodwill and connections.
Part of a growing local giving movement, Camden Giving will bring together experts from across the sectors to improve the lives of Camden residents and is led by a steering committee composed of public sector, private sector and voluntary sector representatives working together for Camden.
Camden Giving is led by a board that is a cross sectoral partnership of public, private and voluntary organisations and Camden residents.
